On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed topics from what’s happening in the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving saga to the NBA Summer League.

The guys began with discussing everything going on with Kyrie Irving. Reports out there have been all over the place. Camello feels like it’s the Kawhi Leonard saga all over again with all these conflicting reports. He also believes it is all a leverage play. They also talked about Kevin Durant and his situation. Will both players still be on the Brooklyn Nets when the new season starts or will they finally get traded?

Pearson thinks Durant wants to leave to the Phoenix Suns simply to win, and that he wants to be in a good, stable situation.

The guys talked about players like Zion Williamson and Ja Morant who signed their rookie max deals. Also, stars like Devin Booker and Bradley Beal signed their new max deals. Which team will get the most value out of these new mega deals?

Hall-Of-Famer Kevin Garnett sent out a challenge to Anthony Davis to get himself to the point where he can be next season’s MVP.

Camello and Pearson dissected Jeanie Buss’ cryptic Kobe tweet. Was it actually controversial? Who was it aimed at?

The Lakers have had themselves a decent offseason by signing Troy Brown Jr., Juan Toscano-Anderson, Thomas Bryant, Damian Jones, and Lonnie Walker IV. They also have a few two way contracts. The Lakers summer league roster has been playing well so far with Scotty Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider as the current standouts.

The Lakers scouting team remains undefeated.
