On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed topics from the continued saga of where Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will finally end up to LeBron James and Russell Westbrook showing up to Summer League….awkwardly.

The KD and Kyrie saga continues to be a slow burn. Irving showed up at a Los Angeles Sparks game and Summer League games. The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets have been in a back and forth about a potential trade. The Nets want two first round picks, and the Lakers want to give them one first round pick and a second round pick.

Could the Nets bring KD and Kyrie back?

The guys also discussed the fact that Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell could be traded, because the organization is now listening to trade offers.

Are teams willing to wait out a potential Kevin Durant trade? Would the Nets have to bring down their asking price eventually?

During one of the Lakers Summer League games, it was shown that LeBron James and Russell Westbrook were there, but never acknowledged each other.

The guys also paid tribute to two iconic gangster actors who passed away, James Caan and Tony Sirico.

The Emmy nominations were announced and surprisingly HBO’s “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” only got one nomination for cinematography.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver and the Board of Governors have approved the Play-In Tournament to be permanent. A new transition take foul rule has been voted on and it will give the offensive team a single FT and possession when a take foul is committed.

There’s also talk about an in season tournament happening. Is that a good or bad idea?
