On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed a few topics. The Los Angeles Lakers formally introduced Patrick Beverley. He and Russell Westbrook hugged it out and made the internet explode.

Camello talked about the history Beverley has against the Lakers, especially last season when he was making fun of Westbrook. Beverley will bring toughness and grit, but can it work with Westbrook?

The guys discussed the Hulu docuseries Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers. Camello mentioned the cool transition from “Showtime” to “The Lakeshow.”

The guys talked about Kyrie Irving’s recent appearance on The Shop, and called himself ‘quirky.’ The WNBA playoffs have been electrifying. The ladies have been putting on a clinic and getting physical. Who’s going to make it to the end?

The Las Vegas Aces are heading to the WNBA Finals. We also witnessed the final shot of Sue Bird’s legendary career. The final talk was about Donovan Mitchell getting traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The New York Knicks, who were the only team who seemingly had the most hope of getting Mitchell, lost out for not wanting to trade their key pieces. Who won this trade, the Jazz or Cavs?
