On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed a few topics ranging from the Lakers to the new WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces. The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Dennis Schröder back for a one-year contract.
After turning down a major contract extension from the Lakers, he’s back again to redeem himself. Camello thinks it’s a good signing, but a head scratcher because of how crowded the backcourt is. He also thinks there should be more moves made by the Lakers to remedy this team, who at best, could make the Play-In tournament with this roster. The guys then started to recap the latest episode of “Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers,” which includes the championships in the early 2000s and the eventual feud and breakup of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal when Shaq was traded to the Miami Heat.
Camello and Pearson discussed Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver’s light punishment, and if he should be voted out as owner of the Suns. Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green voiced his opinion on the matter as well, stating there should be a vote.

The guys ended the show with the WNBA champions being crowned, the Las Vegas Aces, who won in four games. Camello says the Aces were the best team all year. Coach Becky Hammon came in and won a championship in her first year as a head coach after a few years as an assistant coach under San Antonio Spurs head coach Greg Popovich. The Aces also become the first pro sports team in Vegas to win a major championship.
