On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed a few topics ranging from Kyrie Irving and his controversy to the Brooklyn Nets firing head coach Steve Nash. Currently, the Nets have been struggling with not just controversy, but with the team not playing to the level they should be playing at.

Camello thinks Nash should be happy he’s leaving this team. It’s being reported that the Nets are nearing a deal with suspended Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, which is potentially an entirely new level of nightmare for the team. Irving has been trying to avoid addressing in real full extent and depth what he tweeted which, even though he doesn’t think it, was a link that promoted a film with Anti-Semitism in it.

Writer, Reporter and Editor Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA and The Sporting Tribune joins the guys to talk about the Lakers, Russell Westbrook’s new bench role, and trade scenarios. The Lakers finally got their first win against the Denver Nuggets last weekend. Duarte thinks if you’re the Lakers, you have to look into anything and everything, even if that means listening to potential Anthony Davis trades. He thinks the person who does need to go is Russell Westbrook. Duarte gave his thoughts on trade scenarios and thinks the one with the Indiana Pacers, in which Myles Turner and Buddy Hield come to the Lakers and Westbrook heads to Indiana is the best option for LA.

Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has not had an ideal start to the season, having sat out some games already with knee management. The Clippers are underperforming and stumbling to start this season. Camello wonders if Leonard is frustrated with his knee or is he frustrated with the Clippers medical personnel. The guys ended the show by talking about Donovan Mitchell and the excellent season he’s been having with his new team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Mitchell has jumped into MVP territory.
