On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello once again had to talk about the Lakers stinking it up, even though they seemed to finally gain some positive momentum.

The Lakers, as of the moment this new episode was recorded, had fallen out of the Play-In Tournament.

The guys also talked about the recent game against the New Orleans Pelicans. In that game, the team had been up by 23 points and somehow, yet again, messed it up. Then the game against the Dallas Mavericks they gave up 80 points in the first half. There was also a moment between Russell Westbrook and LA Times beat reporter Brad Turner that started uncomfortable and ended on good terms.

Chaez talks about pride and says that the Lakers need to play with it and LeBron James shouldn’t be shut down for the season. He also talked about the fact that if the Lakers aren’t mathematically eliminated, they should indeed play hard for a spot in the Play-In Tournament.

The guys also recapped the show Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, and its latest episode.

Another point talked about was the fact that Anthony Davis will likely be making his return to the court soon, and if he will be any help for the team or if it’s too late.

For some other NBA news, Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving is now able to play home games. This week’s episode ends with some MVP talk. Who will win it this year?
