On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chris Camello and Chaez Pearson talked about quite a lot. The biggest conversation was once again about the struggling Los Angeles Lakers and if they have given up on this season. Recently, the team had two incredibly embarrassing performances against the Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors.

Lakers beat writer and reporter, Kyle Goon, of the Southern California News Group joined the guys to talk about the state of the Lakers. Goon talked about the disconnect on the team, the things he notices and sees on this team that we don’t, LeBron James and Russell Westbrook’s play, and if the team has mentally quit.

Chaez and Chris also talk about the recent 50-60 point games players have had around the league. Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl Anthony-Towns put up 60 becoming the first center since Shaquille O’Neal to do it. They also talk about the vaccine mandate in New York and Kevin Durant calling out the mayor. Also, the Golden State Warriors got Draymond Green back and it sparked the team once again.

Social Media Posts of the Week:

Chris picked a post that showed a video of Rich Paul (from @iamgeraldhuston) laughing after a fan asks him if he can trade him for Russell Westbrook and mentions he can still shoot. Paul looks directly at him and laughs while walking away.

Chaez picked a tweet from Silver Screen and Roll’s Harrison Faigen (@hmfaigen), that mentions Lakers television commentator Stu Lantz’s keys to the game. Harrison photoshopped it to say that the keys are: “no one gets hurt, prayer and idk LeBron get 50 or something.”
