LOS ANGELES — The highly viewed Verzuz battle that was curated by music producers Timbaland and Swizz Beats will now be featured on Apple Music and Beats 1. Each of the battles between various artists, will be available live on the Apple Music streaming service and on the Verzuz Instagram account for free.
The upcoming battle will be between Snoop Dogg and DMX on Wednesday, July 22 at 5PM PT. The hype surrounding “The Battle Of The Dogs” as its been called, has been anticipated for the past few weeks.
The Verzuz series has allowed fans to witness some memorable times from Grammy Award winning producer Hit Boy releasing an unheard Nipsey Hussle track, to watching T-Pain and Lil Jon battle. Many also witnessed Ludacris dropping new songs during his battle with Nelly, to Erykah Badu and Jill Scott having record breaking viewing numbers.
It’s a great step in the right direction for the Verzuz series partnering with Apple Music, the quality and battles can only elevate higher from this point.
