NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Just one day from the rookies and quarterbacks reporting to Training Camp, wide receiver Tutu Atwell tested positive for COVID-19 according to the team.

Any player that test positive or proximity to someone who had tested positive requires any NFL player to fall into the COVID-19 protocol. The protocol rules were amended in June 2021 due to many having access to the vaccines.

In order for a return to the team and team activities, Atwell will need to be asymptomatic and conduct two negative tests over a 24 hour period.
