LOS ANGELES, CA — With the first full pads practice of 2019, the USC Trojans turned up the competition at quarterback on Saturday during 11-on-11 drills. There are four quarterbacks battling for the starting job this season, last season’s starter J.T. Daniels, Jack Sears, junior Matt Fink and freshmen Kedon Slovis.
Daniels who is in the lead to become the starter this season, made mistakes along with the rest of the quarterbacks. The wide receivers stole the thunder from the quarterbacks. Amon-Ra St. Brown and Velus Jones Jr. impressed head coach Clay Helton. The two wide receivers should see a lot of time on the field this season for USC.
