LOS ANGELES, CA — USC wide receiver Zachariah Branch along with safety Calen Bullock have both been named to the Midseason All-American list.

Branch, a true freshman, was selected to The Sporting News Midseason All-America Team and the ESPN Midseason All-America Team as a returner. Branch continues to impress the college football world with his shifty moves and electric returns. Against Stanford, he returned a punt for a 75-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He had a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown vs. San Jose State on Aug. 26.

Branch continues to impress, with two touchdown receptions this season and is the first Trojan since Adoree’ Jackson in 2016 to have a punt return and kickoff return for a touchdown, as well as at least one receiving touchdown in the same season. Branch is currently number two in the nation in kickoff return touchdowns and punt return touchdowns. In total, he has recorded 9 kickoff returns for 217 yards and 11 punt returns for 244 yards. As a receiver, Branch has 15 receptions for 195 yards and two touchdowns and 5 carries for 48 rushing yards.

Bullock is one of the nation’s top safety in college football, has earned placement on the AP Midseason All-America Second Team.  This season, the safety has recorded 36 tackles, one interception and a team-high 5 PBUs.

The 18th ranked Trojans are currently 6-1 after an embarrassing loss to Notre Dame last Saturday, look to regroup and get back into the win column against Utah on Saturday night at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 5PM PT. The Trojans remain undefeated in the Pac-12 thus far this season.
