NEW YORK, NY — As the excitement builds for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, the latest update on the voting reveals significant movements in the standings, particularly for renowned players Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Ronald Acuña Jr. Guerrero, a four-time All-Star from the Toronto Blue Jays, has surged to take the top spot at first base in the American League. His 1,192,604 votes surpass the total previously held by the New York Yankees’ Paul Goldschmidt, a seven-time All-Star and former NL MVP.

Guerrero, familiar with fan elections, was last year’s fan-elected starting first baseman and has won the fan vote in three of the previous four seasons. His exceptional performance has put him in a position to potentially tie the Blue Jays’ franchise mark with a fourth fan election.
Four-time All-Star Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves has climbed the standings in the outfield, drawing attention as the Braves host this year’s All-Star festivities. Acuña’s prominence continues to grow as he aims for another noteworthy season.

Joining Guerrero and Acuña in the spotlight is Detroit Tigers’ two-time All-Star Javier Báez, who has made significant strides in the American League outfield voting. Báez has overtaken some of the competition, including famous names like Mike Trout and Steven Kwan, and aims to join Tigers teammate Riley Greene in the starting lineup.

The 2025 PRO SPIRIT MLB All-Star Ballot uniquely interactively facilitates voting for this year’s All-Star game. Fans can cast their votes exclusively online at MLB.com/vote and participate actively through the MLB App and MLB Ballpark App until Phase 1 voting ends this Thursday at 12 Noon ET.

Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge leads MLB with 2,699,483 votes. Should he maintain this lead, Judge could secure an automatic starting assignment as the AL’s leading vote-getter and make history by surpassing fan voting records previously set by legends like Ken Griffey Jr. and Rod Carew.

MLB Network will reveal who advances to Phase 2 of voting on Thursday. This revealing will determine the starters for the upcoming All-Star Game, setting the stage for a showcase of the league’s premier talent.
With stars like Guerrero, Acuña, Báez, and Judge captivating fans worldwide, the 2025 MLB All-Star Game promises to be a highlight of the season. It will celebrate both emerging talent and iconic players in the baseball world.
