Actress Naturi Naughton revealed her critique of the Netflix series ‘Nemesis’ to her fans and the world.

ATLANTA, GA — Naturi Naughton, known for her role as Tasha St. Patrick in Courtney Kemp’s Power universe, took time out of her schedule to offer her viewpoint on Kemp and Tani Marole’s new Netflix thriller ‘Nemesis’, fueling buzz around the series.

Nemesis’ debuted on Netflix May 14 and quickly climbed to No. 2 in the platform’s top rankings, as viewers engaged with an eight‑episode run centered on the rivalry between Matthew Law’s LAPD detective Isaiah Stiles and Y’lan Noel’s Coltrane Wilder. The cast includes Gabrielle Dennis, Cleopatra Coleman, Domenick Lombardozzi, Quincy Isaiah, and Cedric Joe. Critics have noted the series’ strong visuals, performances, and tightly compelling storytelling.

Naughton took to Instagram to urge fans to tune in, sharing an endorsement that resonates with Kemp’s loyal supporters of her great work.

Are y’all watching Nemesis? Have you seen this show?” Naughton said. “And I’m not just saying this because I happen to have been the star of the iconic Power creation. By the amazing, legendary Courtney Kemp. But it’s so good. Like the look of the show, the acting, the writers, just like Courtney and Tani, the creation of this world. I am locked in. And, um… Y’all look really good. And if you enjoyed ‘Power’, you’re going to want to see Nemesis! I’ll just say, keep watching and enjoy. Let’s make it number one, y’all. Congratulations to the Nemesis team and Netflix.”

That celebrity stamp of approval matters that Kemp’s name is connected soundly to the crime drama, and fans of Power have been watching closely to see whether Nemesis can stand on its own. So far, critics and viewers point to the show’s production values, layered central performances, and the creative partnership of Kemp and Marole as reasons it has resonated quickly.
