LOS ANGELES, CA — The pride of Sierra Canyon basketball and highly recruited athlete Bronny James made the announcement after months of deliberation decided to attend USC this coming year and join the basketball program under head coach Andy Enfield.

The oldest son of Lakers superstar Lebron James made the announcement via his Instagram page on Saturday afternoon. The 6-foot-3 McDonald’s All-American guard averaged 15 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 3 apg this season. The four star recruit had been highly covered for the past three seasons at his high school. Bronny will play his home games just a few moments away from his famous father who will suit up for the Lakers for the next two seasons. Lebron James’ dream of playing with his son has inched closer with Bronny playing at Galen Center.

It’s a proud moment to see my son go to college. He’s the first one to go to college in my family…” James said on Saturday night. “Super duper proud, super emotional, but just super duper excited and happy for his journey. Today was a proud day. I couldn’t lose today no matter the outcome of this game.”

Hours after making his stunning announcement, Bronny appeared courtside to watch his father and the Lakers take on the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference semifinal Playoffs.

*Bronny James NIL value is estimated at $5.9 million evaluation.*
