ATLANTA, GA — Georgia spent the week wearing Outkast and spent Saturday dressing down Florida. Four days after Nike launched its Georgia x Outkast collection, the No. 3 Bulldogs beat the Gators 27-8 inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in their first meeting in Atlanta.
Georgia improved to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the SEC, tying Kentucky near the top of the conference standings.
Quavo on the Sideline
The Bulldogs had company on their side of the field. Migos member and platinum recording artist Quavo showed his support from the sideline, adding another hip-hop name to a week that already belonged to Atlanta music. Quavo has been a visible Georgia fan for years, and his presence fit a game that blended the sport with the city’s culture as few rivalry games have.
