LOS ANGELES, CA — The final episode of Season 3 of Hulu’s suspenseful series Reasonable Doubt left many viewers on a cliffhanger, wondering what would be the fate of Jax Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi). Everyone will witness the continuing story in Season 4, which is set to be released on October 6. Along with Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman (Lewis Stewart), Joseph Sikora (Bill Sterling), Tim Jo (Daniel Kim), Brandee Evans, Morris Chestnut (Corey Cash), and Angela Grovey (Krystal Walters) are all set to return. Polidore-Williams is stepping into the complicated world of Reasonable Doubt Season 4, joining an ensemble known for creating characters who rarely fit neatly into a hero-or-villain box.
The actress joins returning stars including Emayatzy Corinealdi and Joseph Sikora as the Hulu legal drama enters its next chapter. For Polidore-Williams, becoming part of the cast was an experience defined by collaboration and an immediate sense of welcome.
“Filming the show, the cast welcomed me with open arms,” Polidore-Williams told Nitecast Media. “It’s a wonderful ensemble, from Emayatzy [Corinealdi] to McKinley [Freeman], all of the star people that we love on the show, all the way to Raamla [Mohamed], the showrunner. Everyone just really embraced me, so I’m happy to be there.”
That support became especially important as Polidore-Williams took on the role of Brooke Cropper, a new character entering a series where audience reactions can change from episode to episode.
“I don’t know how the fans are gonna react,” she admitted. “That’s the thing about Reasonable Doubt, I feel like all the characters are so complicated you either love to hate them or hate to love them, or it’s a mix of emotions.”
Polidore-Williams expects Brooke to generate that same kind of complicated reaction.
“My character ‘Brooke Cropper’ will be no different,” she said.
Taylor Polidore-Williams working with Emayatzy Corinealdi and Joseph Sikora was one of the biggest benefits of joining an established series. The opportunity to work opposite actors who already understand the show’s rhythm and characters. For Polidore-Williams, sharing scenes with Corinealdi and Sikora offered a chance to push herself creatively.
“It’s really iron sharpens iron,” she emphasized. “Being able to have back and forth with people like Emayatzy, like Joseph [Sikora], is so fun.”
The actress also emphasized that strong on-screen chemistry begins with preparation and a willingness to collaborate.
“I think if you come in like any other job, prepared and ready to go and open to be collaborative, they meet you right there,” Polidore-Williams said.
That mindset helped Polidore-Williams settle into an ensemble that has already developed a strong identity over the show’s previous seasons. Rather than trying to force her way into that dynamic, she approached the opportunity ready to listen, prepare and contribute.
‘Reasonable Doubt’ Season 4 Is a Reckoning
For Polidore-Williams, one of the most exciting elements of Season 4 is the sense that the characters are heading toward a reckoning.
“I would also say, especially how season three ended, I’m a fan of the show,” she explained. That perspective gives her a unique connection to the material. Polidore-Williams wasn’t simply joining the series as an actor; she was also coming into the season as someone who had been watching and wondering what would happen next.
“So I was like reading the scripts, like what is happening next?” she recalled.
That curiosity mirrors what Reasonable Doubt has consistently delivered to its audience: complicated characters, escalating stakes and episode endings designed to keep viewers guessing.
Polidore-Williams believes Season 4 continues that tradition while taking the storytelling to another level.
“They do a really good job of each episode keeping you on this cliffhanger,” she said. “But the character development and really just the way the story all weaves together, I’m excited for everyone to see that it’s really a masterful season.”
With Brooke Cropper now entering the mix, Reasonable Doubt is as unpredictable as L.A. weather as she adds to its increasingly complicated, thrilling story.
And if Polidore-Williams’ comments are any indication, viewers shouldn’t expect Brooke to be an easy character to figure out. That ambiguity is part of what makes the series work—and part of what makes Season 4 worth watching. The new season continues the Hulu drama’s tradition of mixing legal battles, personal conflicts, and morally complicated characters, with Polidore-Williams bringing a fresh presence to the ensemble.
