LAS VEGAS, NV — Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson has added another entry to an already historic résume, as the WNBA named the four-time MVP Western Conference Player of the Month for June, marking a league-record 15th Player of the Month honor in her career and her second such award this season (she also won for May).

Wilson’s dominance fueled a 9-2 Aces month. She led the WNBA in scoring in June with a blistering 26.5 points per game while also pulling down a team-best and league third-highest 10.3 rebounds per game. Her all-around production included 2.9 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.8 blocks per game on efficient 52.6% FG and shooting 81.6% from the free throw line. Over the month she produced eight 20-point games — five 30-point performances — and a league-leading six 20+ point double-doubles.

The milestones piled up alongside the box-score brilliance. On June 16, Wilson earned the 30th Western Conference Player of the Week honor of her career, moving within striking distance of Tina Charles’ all-time record, as she owns 33 Player of the Week awards. Wilson’s string of monthly honors spans much of her peak: August–September 2020; June 2021; May and July 2022; June, July and August 2023; May, June, July and September 2024, August 2025, May 2026, and now June 2026.

June game log highlights illustrate why Wilson was unstoppable:

  • June 2 at Los Angeles: 25 points, 15 rebounds in a 79-69 win; became the 14th player in WNBA history (and fourth-fastest) to reach 900 career “stocks” (steals + blocks).
  • June 6 vs Golden State: 28 points, 14 rebounds in an 84-79 victory; moved into No. 15 on the league’s all-time rebounding list.
  • June 8 vs Seattle: 34 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists in a 101-91 win; became the 19th player in league history to surpass 6,000 career points — and the youngest and fastest to do so — and moved into No. 7 on the all-time blocks list with three blocks that night.
  • June 11 at Portland: 32 points in a 105-89 win; advanced from No. 19 to No. 16 on the league’s all-time scoring list.
  • June 13 vs Minnesota: 24 points, 10 rebounds in a 100-97 victory over the then-No. 1 team in the WNBA, marking her 11th straight 20-point game.
  • June 15 at Dallas: limited to 18 points in a 96-66 loss.
  • June 17 at Phoenix: 33 points, 10 rebounds and a season-high five steals in an 86-76 win — just the seventh 30/10/5 game in league history.
  • June 21 vs Golden State: 19 points, 9 rebounds in a 92-73 victory.
  • June 23 vs New York: held to a season-low 16 points in an 87-76 loss; nonetheless moved past teammate Jewell Loyd into No. 15 on the WNBA’s all-time scoring list.
  • June 25 vs Dallas: 32 points and 9 rebounds in a 99-84 win.
  • June 28 at Chicago: closed the month with 30 points, 15 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks in a 107-99 win — her league-high eighth 30/15 double-double and her 43rd career 30-point game (second all-time behind Diana Taurasi’s 54 point effort).

Beyond the gaudy numbers, Wilson’s June stretch reinforced her standing as the league’s premier two-way force — a player who can carry an offense, anchor a defense, and elevate a roster aiming for championship contention. The Aces’ 9-2 record in June underscores how pivotal she remains to Las Vegas’ title aspirations.

Wilson’s achievements and pursuit of milestones are only one aspect of the story as the season’s halfway point draws near; her consistent success elevates the Aces to the top of the league and establishes Las Vegas as a serious contender as the WNBA enters the second half. Fans, opponents, and coaches will all be keeping an eye on Wilson to see how long she can maintain this kind of output and what all-time records she could go for moving forward as one of the greatest to play the game.
